October is National Skate Month and since we all LOVE Halloween here, we want to see how you’re working skating into your celebrations!
Here’s the deal: Grab your phone or camera, put on your awesome costume (check out Chloé’s costumes in the header for some inspiration), and then get out there and skate. We want to see your best (original) videos or pictures of you skating (quad, inline, or board) in costume. So get creative and most importantly, have fun!
National Skate Month is a great reason (like we really need a reason) for us to give away some awesome gear that will help you celebrate Skate Month all year long.
*Pro Tip: You can also grab WAY more candy skating than you could on foot.
*Not So Pro Tip: Skating is super fun if you’re safe, and not so much if you’re not. Make sure you’re comfortable skating on streets and sidewalks as well as in crowds BEFORE you try to do it in costume!
Now through 11:59pm PST November 6th, 2018, submit your original media for a chance at multiple prizes! Submissions will be accepted solely via these Devaskation social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. All submission posts must be tagged using #SkatingForCandy. Private posts will not be seen, and thus will not be eligible for entry. Contestants may submit unlimited entries during the contest period provided they are not duplicates. The Devaskation Staff will choose multiple winners in the second week of November. Categories include Inline Skating, Quad Skating, and Skateboarding. All winners will be announced on our social media accounts by November 9th!
