Based on the design from the 80s, this plate has the standard 10 degree kingpins to give the perfect balance between speed and agility. The larger single cushion allows for this plate to turn quicker and have incredible responce while in use. I highly recommend shopping here! I ordered my skates online, they were shipped next day, and got to me 3 days later! They got to Indiana from Arizona so quickly. I had a slight hiccup with FedEx's delivery services, but Devaskation's sales team emailed me back immediately, and were extremely helpful in getting it resolved. They have excellent customer service!!
avery lorenI don't even know where to start so here it goes❣ Ok So my son bought me a pair of skates from another skate shop. When I received them, they were so big, and I had no control. I went off their size recommendations, but it was wrong. So I searched and searched and finally found devaskation. They were terrific from beginning to end. We communicated through email, and they were able to get me in the skates I needed in the right size. On top of just being fantastic, they built me the skates correctly to accommodate my disability needs. Side note, I'm disabled and have an autoimmune disease, which causes 24/7 pain/numbing feeling throughout my whole body and uses a cane for assistance. I've been rolling around my house for a few weeks now and noticed the difference from devastation built skates. I can stop so much easier and no pain. I've gain muscle mass back, and my energy has gone up. I owe this to Jen, Scott, Dan & the rest of the team at Devaskation. They were so patient and accommodating. Back to the review: I called and left a message, and within an hour or so, Jen got back to me and we set an appointment for me to come in and try on the few pair they had in my size. Jen was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! Her welcoming energy is the reason why I choose to shop small. Devaskation/Jen was a treasure and I am so glad I was able to support them during this pandemic.
