These frames are what you get when you combine the glitz of chrome rims and the performance of a race car body. When I first got them out of the package, I was amazed by just how light they are, they are like two aluminum feathers.
As for the durability, I’m impressed with the surface finish that Luigino gave these frames. Normally when you scrape the surface on your frames it just ruins your day, but because these frames have (what I judge to be) a thick layer of anodized aluminum on their outer crust which is a lot harder than paint, when I scraped them, the scratch barely showed up. With a little bit of polishing I barely see it anymore and the finish is still great.
Bottom line, great frames, they are the equivalent to having chrome rims on your skates; a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for, I know that I don’t regret buying them.
