Quad Skate Bearings

Roller skate bearings are an important part of any skaters set-up and can make all the difference in your skating experience. We carry top bearing brands for skates like BankRoll, Roller Bones, SEBA, Bionic, Mota, Kwik, and more. Skate bearings range widely, but most modern bearings are 8mm and fit most modern wheels and skates. If you have older skates, you might need 7mm bearings! Devaskation carries a variety of bearings including ABEC-5, ABEC-7, ABEC-9, and Ceramic. Make sure you maintain your bearings with oil and cleaner (especially if you’re skating outdoors) or they will wear out quicker.

Quad skate bearings are the small metal components that are inserted into the wheels of quad roller skates to allow them to spin freely. They consist of an inner and outer ring, a set of steel balls or ceramic balls, and a protective shield or cover to keep dirt and debris out.

Quad skate bearings come in various sizes and qualities, ranging from basic bearings designed for recreational use to high-performance bearings designed for competitive skating. The ABEC rating system is often used to measure the precision and quality of bearings, with higher ABEC ratings indicating greater precision and smoother spinning.

When selecting quad skate bearings, it is important to consider factors such as skating style, skill level, and personal preferences. Some skaters may prefer faster bearings for speed and performance, while others may prefer more durable bearings for longevity and reliability.

Proper maintenance of quad skate bearings is also important to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes regular cleaning and lubrication, as well as avoiding exposure to water or excessive moisture that can cause rust and damage to the bearings.
